Anna Sorokina
Branch ManagerAnna has been with us for 17 years. She emigrated to the U.S. from Russia in 1997 and she's not shy about saying how proud she is that WSECU is her first - and only - employer since coming to the States. She's held nearly every branch position, from teller to branch manager. She started out in our University branch before making the switch to our Everett branch. Now she's back home in her original branch where it all began. She has quite the busy household with her husband, two children and her mother-in-law. It doesn't stop there - there are also the four-legged family members: Cleo the cat and Magnus the bulldog. Some of her favorite things to do are working in the garden and putting her degree in material science/chemical engineering - yes, you read that correctly - to good use by tutoring students in math and science. She also loves the ocean and everything related to it and really enjoys living in the Pacific Northwest.
