  • Dr. Michael Flynn

    DVM

    Dr. Flynn, an Idaho native, graduated from veterinary school at WSU in 1971. He started his career in Alderwood, Washington and then moved on to work as an Air Force veterinarian for England for five years. Upon completion of his work with the Air Force, Dr. Flynn moved to northern Idaho where he ran his own veterinary practice for twenty years. After selling his practice in 2001, Dr.Flynn, his wife and two pugs moved to Seattle to begin work at Crown Hill Animal Hospital. When he's not caring for pets, Dr. Flynn enjoys sailing and traveling.

  • Dr. Devra Darley

    DVM

    Dr. Darley grew up in California in the San Francisco Bay Area. She completed a bachelor's degree in molecular biology at UCLA, then worked at a biotechnology company in San Diego before attending veterinary school at UC Davis. Dr. Darley graduated from UC Davis in 2001 and moved to Seattle to join VCA Crown Hill Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian. In her free time, she enjoys reading, knitting, cooking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with her husband Brian and their cats Audrey and Indy.

  • Shuna Cerrato

    DVM

    Dr. Cerrato (formerly Klaveness) was raised in Northern California on a small hobby farm, and has always loved animals. She earned an undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Oberlin College in 1998 and worked in the field of neuroimaging research in Boston prior to pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. She received her DVM degree, graduating with honors, from Washington State University in 2005. She did an optional year-long internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, a world-renowned specialty referral hospital. She practiced as an emergency and critical care veterinarian at the VCA Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle from 2006 to 2010, where she worked closely with specialists and also enjoyed teaching young veterinarians who were doing their internships there. She got married in the summer of 2010, and it was a desire for a day practice schedule that led to her joining VCA Crown Hill Animal Hospital. Her specific areas of interest are soft tissue surgery, preventive care, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and diagnostic imaging. She feels privileged to be able to work with animals and the people who love them. She lives in Ballard with her husband George and rescued French Bulldog Kerbie, and spends her free time cooking, traveling, reading, walking, and enjoying the cultural and outdoor activities that the Seattle area has to offer.

  • Heidi Parrish

    DVM

    Dr. Parrish grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. She received a BA in Biology from Centre College and attended the University of Tennessee for veterinary school. Following graduation, she completed a Rotating Small Animal Internship in Medicine and Surgery at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle. She then joined Crown Hill Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 2013. Dr. Parrish has been a long standing member of the veterinary community serving as a volunteer, receptionist, kennel worker, and veterinary technician prior to partaking in veterinary school. She loves working with animals and the people that love them. Her interests include preventative care, rehabilitation, internal medicine and diagnostic imaging. In her free time, Heidi enjoys hiking, cooking, gardening, kayaking, swimming, and spending time with her husband Neil and their pets Norah, Lucy, and Lilly!
