Cherie Johnson, D.P.M., is a board certified podiatrist at the Sports Medicine Clinic at Northwest Outpatient Medical Center. Through personal, attentive care, Dr. Johnson aims to provide the best medical treatment for each patient so they can return to a comfortable, active lifestyle. Dr. Johnson graduated first in her class from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. She is board certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. Her clinical interests include reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, tendon repair, arch reconstruction and bunion surgery, arthritic conditions and custom orthotics. Her research focuses on biomechanics of the first ray, peroneal tendon function, first metatarsal mechanics, equinus, fifth metatarsal fracture repair and shin splints.
