UW Medical Center – Northwest offers a conveniently located blood draw lab in north Seattle, where UW Medicine patients and the broader community who have received a physician's order can have their blood drawn and urine collected for various health tests. Certified and state-licensed phlebotomists collect blood and urine samples. The main lab processes the samples and records the results in the patient's electronic medical record for review by the ordering provider. The provider then communicates these results to the patient. Last patient check-in is at 4:45 p.m. Patients must be 14 years or older. This location cannot draw Type and Screen or cryoglobulin labs.
