Description
The Liver Clinic at Harborview Medical Center evaluates and treats patients with chronic hepatitis B and C infections and other chronic liver diseases. These include non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, alcoholic liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, hemochromatosis, primary biliary cholangitis, and primary sclerosing cholangitis. We offer physical examinations, lab testing, imaging studies (including CT and MRI scanning), transient elastography (FibroScan), liver biopsy, and disease-specific treatments, among other services. We also provide comprehensive care for all patients with liver disease, including cirrhosis (extensive liver scarring) that may arise from chronic liver disease.
