When an injury or medical emergency occurs, the staff at UW Medical Center - Northwest is committed to providing personalized, quality emergency care with compassion, dignity and respect. Our team includes board-certified emergency medicine physicians and nurses with advanced cardiac life support, pediatric and trauma training. We provide one of the fastest times to treatment in the region for cardiac patients. And to improve stroke patient recovery rates, we offer immediate patient entry into the hospital’s stroke program. Our emergency department offers 22 private treatment rooms, five trauma/critical care rooms, mobile and bedside patient admissions, and a triage room staffed 24 hours a day.
